More importantly, by comparing the power consumption of the high-end anode and the low-end anode, by reducing the power consumption, the carbon emission reduction per ton of aluminum is 328-475kgCO2.

Another factor that affects carbon emission reduction in the electrolytic aluminum industry is the carbon emission in the production process of prebaked anodes. Coke volatiles are the largest source of carbon emissions by more than 60%, followed by natural gas and asphalt.
