High-quality prebaked anode for carbon reduction production of aluminum electrolysis

In addition, the prebaked anode industry is a typical resource comprehensive utilization and circular economy industry. The raw materials are industrial by-products, and the production process has low energy consumption.
The carbon emissions of the electrolytic aluminum industry mainly come from the electrolysis process and the anode production process. The average net consumption of electrolytic aluminum anodes in my country is 415 kg/ton aluminum, and the consumption of high-quality prebaked anodes is 380-400 kg/ton aluminum. Each ton of aluminum reduces carbon emissions by reducing anode use (15~35) × 44/12 = 55 kg ~ 128 kg.
Therefore, using high-quality prebaked anodes to reduce cell voltage and improve current efficiency is an important way to reduce carbon emissions from electrolytic aluminum. More importantly, by comparing the power consumption of the high-end anode and the low-end anode, by reducing the power consumption, the carbon emission reduction per ton of aluminum is 328-475kgCO2.
In summary, high-end pre-baked anodes and comprehensive customized solutions for customers can reduce the carbon emission of electrolytic aluminum in several aspects, such as reducing net consumption, cell voltage and current efficiency, and pressure drop. To achieve energy-saving electricity and environmental friendliness.
Another factor that affects carbon emission reduction in the electrolytic aluminum industry is the carbon emission in the production process of prebaked anodes. Coke volatiles are the largest source of carbon emissions by more than 60%, followed by natural gas and asphalt. In addition, residual poles have a positive effect on reducing carbon emissions, and recycling should be encouraged.
The carbon emission reduction measures of prebaked anodes can be summarized as follows: improve the actual yield of petroleum coke, and at the same time give full play to the advantages of major customers to promote the standardization of the petroleum coke industry; reduce the amount of asphalt mixed and improve the coking value of asphalt; improve the output and quality of prebaked anodes; Conditional companies use residual poles. Improve the efficiency of waste heat power generation; improve the efficiency of flue gas desulfurization and reduce the amount of lime; increase the amount of new energy vehicles and reduce fuel consumption; upgrade the production line equipment with low comprehensive energy efficiency.
