Corrosion-resistant national standard environmental protecti

Material Name: 5056 Old name: LF5-1 Standard: GB/T 3618-1989

Main features and application range: good strength, corrosion resistance and good machinability in non-heat treatable alloys. The surface is beautiful after anodizing. Can be processed into optical mechanical parts. Ship parts and wire clamps.
Performance characteristics and application of 5056 aluminum alloy
5056 is an Al-Mg rust-proof aluminum alloy, which is not heat-treated. The chemical composition of the alloy is almost the same as that of the 5B05 alloy except for the low manganese content. The magnesium content is slightly higher than that of the 5A05 alloy, and the properties are similar to those of the 5B05. The alloy has good plasticity in the annealed state, and its corrosion resistance is good, and the weldability is acceptable.

Alloy 5056 is commonly used to rive the rivets of aluminum and magnesium alloy assemblies. There are also 5056 coated aluminum wires, which are widely used in the production of window screens and other wire products that require good corrosion resistance.
