The characteristics of titanium copper clad rod produced by extrusion method is that the composite rod has high composite strength and good composite fastness. When turning threads in electrode machining, the turning speed is fast, the feed is large, and there is no separation of titanium and copper; High production efficiency, suitable for mass production. The disadvantage is that the surface roughness of extruded bar is slightly poor and the bending resistance is low. After a certain amount of cold stretching, the bending resistance of the composite bar is improved, the surface roughness is also improved, and the dimensional accuracy of the product is improved, and good results are obtained. Very popular with users. At present, the titanium copper composite bar supplied in the market is mainly produced by extrusion + drawing method.


The explosion method is to first put the copper rod into the titanium tube, evenly distribute explosives outside the titanium tube, and detonate the explosives with detonators, so that the copper rod and titanium tube form a composite under the action of explosive force. Because the section size of titanium copper composite rod is generally small, the production efficiency of explosion method is low, resulting in high cost. At present, no one adopts this method in industrial production. Explosion + rolling method is to use large-size titanium tube and copper bar to form blank by explosion method, and then use pass rolling method to produce finished composite bar. The schematic diagram of explosion blank making is shown in Figure 1. Compared with direct explosion method, this method has the advantages of improving efficiency and reducing cost. The composite bar produced also has good composite strength and other indexes. However, because the rolling processing volume should not be too large, that is, the elongation coefficient is not large, it is not suitable for mass production. At the same time, the corner of the rectangular composite rod is not easy to be filled. If the deformation of pass is not well controlled, there may be crimping or ears. Due to the hot rolling of finished products, the bending resistance of the composite bar is worse, which has an impact on the use. At present, only rectangular and flat bars are produced by this method。
