Aluminum tee bar extrusions

Aluminum tee bar extrusions are preheated before entering the extruder. Generally speaking, the aluminum bar must be heated to the solution temperature in the furnace, but from an empirical point of view, this is not necessarily the case. As long as the aluminum bars are correctly cast and homogenized, there is no need to reach the solution temperature in the aluminum bar preheating furnace.

Aluminum tee angle bar should be heated to a lower temperature that can be extruded, while ensuring that the temperature of the extruder outlet reaches the target value. By reducing the preheating temperature of the aluminum bar, the extrusion speed can be increased, so that the energy consumption of the heating furnace will be reduced. Practice has proved that economic data, such a change can save 15-20% energy consumption of gas heating furnace.

For the gas heating furnace, the temperature of the aluminum bar section is measured using a two-point thermocouple. Because this type of instrument has high requirements for maintenance, the advantages of using such an instrument itself will either cost a lot of maintenance or lose accuracy. Some aluminum extrusion plants have begun to use non-contact sensors to detect and control the temperature of the heating section of the aluminum bar area. Not only reduces the dependence on the contact thermocouple thermometer, but also reduces the maintenance problems and accuracy problems caused by the limitations of the instrument itself.
