However, the anode guide rod will inevitably be bent during transportation and electrolytic cell. After the bent guide rod is installed on the busbar with the anode carbon block, the anode carbon block and the bottom surface of the tank are not parallel, which affects the normal production of electrolytic aluminum. During assembly and production, the residual aluminum guide rod and steel claws can be recycled after being calibrated. The anode guide rod straightening is set in front of the steel claw inspection station. After the guide rod steel claw is straightened, it is sent to the guide rod straightening equipment for straightening.

Design of aluminum anode rod straightening
The anode guide rod and steel claw integrated straightening device is composed of base, turntable, lifting mechanism, straightening mechanism, hydraulic system, electric control system and other parts. The three oil cylinders on the fuselage are retractable fulcrums, and the bending parts of the guide rod and the steel claw bracket are pressure-straightened in the form of simply supported beams. The straightening mechanism can rotate or revolve.
