Characteristics and scope of application:
5A02 (LF2) is Al-Mg series rust-proof aluminum. Compared with 3A21 aluminum alloy, 5A02 has higher strength, especially higher fatigue strength; similar to 3A21, it has high plasticity and corrosion resistance; heat treatment cannot be strengthened. Contact welding and hydrogen atom welding have good weldability, and there is a tendency for crystalline cracks in argon arc welding.
