aluminium transformer winding

Aluminium transformer winding refers to the circuit part of the transformer, which is made of aluminum wires with higher conductivity and is used in power systems. The winding should have sufficient insulation strength, mechanical strength and heat resistance.

Aluminium transformer winding is made of aluminum wire with higher conductivity. The winding should have sufficient insulation strength, mechanical strength and heat resistance.

Aluminum transformer winding is usually divided into two types: layer type and pie type. The turns of the winding are arranged continuously along the axial direction, which is called layer winding. Generally, each layer of the layered winding is cylindrical, so a winding composed of two layers is called a double-layer cylinder; a winding composed of multiple layers is called a multi-layer cylinder.

The turns of aluminium transformer winding are continuously wound along the radial direction to form a cake (segment), and then the winding composed of many cakes arranged in the axial direction is called a cake winding. It includes continuous type, plug-in capacitive type and tangled type.

Aluminum transformer winding has foil winding and spiral winding. The foil winding form is also cylindrical, and the turns are continuously wound in the axial direction. Generally, the next turn is one layer, so it can be a layered winding. The spiral winding is generally one turn per pie, or two pie or four pie and one turn. Each turn is continuously wound along the axial direction, but the form is composed of cakes, so it can be a cake winding.
