1) cleaning: clean the debris on anode carbon block and anode steel claw;
2) make anti-oxidation protective cover: use kraft paper to make a cylindric anti-oxidation protective cover and set it on the anode steel claw;
3) add the anti-oxidation protection filler: evenly add the fresh alumina powder into the ring cavity composed of the anti-oxidation protection sleeve and the anode steel claw, and the height of the fresh alumina powder is flush with the upper edge of the anti-oxidation protection sleeve.
Pre-baked anode steel claw ring protection method, outside the anode steel claw can form a protection ring, so, can prevent the cryolite in the grinding powder of steel claw corrosion, and can avoid oxidation under the condition of high temperature air into the steel claws, which can effectively reduce the degree of oxidation of anode steel claw, to improve the quality of aluminium and prolong the service life of anode steel claw.
