The electrical properties of copper to aluminium bimetallic transition joints are as follows:
1) Joint aging test is carried out according to the predetermined method. The results show that the resistance values of the joints measured in the first 100 times do not change much, and after 704 cycles of aging test, the resistance values do not change more than 10%. It can be seen that the joint has good corrosion resistance, reliable and stable electrical properties.
2) After 704 cycles of aging test, the joints were subjected to 10 short circuit current shocks. The results show that the mechanical properties and resistivity of the composite are still good.
3) In the high current continuous operation test, the joints directly connected to the ground wire of the welding machine are welded with high current. Welding current is 320-420 A, time is 2 h, load rate is 80%. The test results show that the temperature rise of the joint is not more than 80 C.
It can be seen from this that the copper to aluminium bimetallic transition joints made by not only have good mechanical properties, but also have reliable and stable electrical properties. They are rare structural materials in power, electronics and electrochemical industries.
