In the 1980s, aluminium foil paper, as the lining paper of cigarettes, mainly includes calendered aluminium foil paper and aluminized paper. Today, composite aluminium foil paper has become a potential material with high barrier and anti-corrosion to light, air and water. When the temperature changes rapidly, the material will not undergo any deformation. Recently, the use of vacuum aluminized paper has been increasing gradually in China.



Its principle is that aluminium metal is heated and evaporated continuously in vacuum, and metal vapor condensation deposits on the continuous substrate to form a very thin aluminium film. The aluminium film is thin and uniform, with good optical effect. It has good shielding and reflecting effects on light and ultraviolet rays, and can effectively prevent the aging of light on tobacco content. Compared with calendered aluminium foil paper, one of its advantages is that the consumption of aluminium is small, the thickness of aluminium film is only 0.02-0.03 micron, while the thickness of calendered aluminium foil paper is 7-8 micron, which has obvious economic benefits.
