1050A aluminum foil strip for transformer winding

1050A O temper is widely used in production of winding of cast resin transformers as strip and coil. The surface of 1050A aluminum foil strip coil must be mill finish, bright, free of any pollution e.g. grease stain and etc. Silt edge should be free of burr and sharpness in order to prevent any damage on insulating materials between layers of Al-conductor in windings.

Aluminum 1050A aluminum foil strip coil is normally produced according to BS1470 specification. Best possible classification and comparison among different standards could be as follow:
-BSEN 515
-BSEN 485-P3
-ISO 2170
-ISO 6361

The permitted hardness is 18+2HB.

The electrical conductivity of 1050A aluminum foil strip coil for electrical application and its value is min.36m/Ωmm²or equivalent Min.61% IACS at 20℃.

1050A aluminum foil strip coil ‘s burr free, is mandatory in supplied conductors the permitted value is in accordance with below table:

Thickness ≤800mm, maximum burr is 0.01mm
Thickness >800mm, maximum burr is 0.02mm.
